Friday Night
What do dorky kids do while normal teenagers are out stealing shopping trolleys and chugging passion-pop? Friday Night examines high school drama through the eyes of the nerdiest kids in class.
Over the past six months, The Spinster and the Whippet has been drafting and pitching a new situation-comedy about high school debaters. Want to see it? This month we start shooting the pilot episode, and we’re accepting donations towards filming costs at IndieGoGo. We really appreciate the support.
Fringe Update: Mongrel
Directed by Alana Hicks (Boxed) and written by Carolyn Burns (Careers for Attractive Ladies), our new play, Mongrel, will premiere at the Newtown Theatre as part of the 2011 the Sydney Fringe Festival.

Audiences on Careers for Attractive Ladies:
“…loved every second…”
“Whitlam. Gays. Feminism. Partial nudity. Everyone should see this play, and quick!”
“Engaging, perfectly paced performances animate a witty, compassionate and finely balanced script, and transform a small performance space in Petersham Town Hall into a seventies London sharehouse for the best and worst of drunken nights-in.”
From Final Rehearsals…
